Do you have old VHS tapes with old family videos, sporting events, weddings, or other special events?
Research generally indicates that magnetic tapes like VHS and Hi8, stored well, will experience 10-20% signal loss, purely from magnetic decay, after 10-25 years. Given how long VHS has been obsolete, chances are that your old tapes have already reached, if not exceeded, this time frame.
If you’ve been holding on to home videos since the 1990s, there is a good chance some of the footage is already skewed due to aging. Kodak recommends converting your VHS tapes to CDs because disks last over four times longer than tapes.
We have you covered! This is a service we offer to our local community only because we can not be responsible for lost or damaged VHS tapes that will be mailed across the US.

HOW TO ORDER:
1. PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE HERE. PLEASE ENTER YOUR NAME, EMAIL, AND PHONE NUMBER ON THE ORDER SCREEN AT CHECKOUT. IF YOU ARE ORDERING MORE THAN 5 VHS TAPE CONVERSIONS, ADD THOSE 5 TAPES TO YOUR CART. RETURN BACK TO THE SAME PRODUCT SCREEN HERE AND CHOOSE THE "EACH ADDITIONAL TAPE PAST 5 ENTER QUANTITY AT $5 EACH" OPTION AND ENTER THE NUMBER OF TAPES IN ADDITION TO THAT YOU ARE ORDERING TO HAVE CONVERTED.
2. PLACE YOUR VHS TAPES IN A BAG OR BOX AND WRITE YOUR NAME AND ORDER NUMBER ON THE BAG OR BOX.

** SOME ORDERS TAKE LONGER THAN OTHERS. EACH TRANSFER IS DONE IN REAL-TIME. SO, IF YOU HAVE A 2-HOUR VHS VIDEO, IT WILL TAKE 2 HOURS TO TRANSFER AND SO ON. TRANSFERS ARE MADE EVERY DAY AND WE WORK ON MULTIPLE RECORDINGS AT ONE TIME. THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN A VERY POPULAR REQUEST SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US. THE AVERAGE TURNAROUND TIME IS 1 WEEK. WE WILL REACH OUT TO YOU SHOULD THIS TIME FRAME NEED TO BE EXTENDED.
WE ARE BY FAR THE LEAST EXPENSIVE PLACE IN THE AREA TO HAVE VHS TAPES CONVERTED. WALMART, WALGREENS, CVS, AND PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIOS CHARGE $20-30 PER VHS TAPE. AS YOU CAN SEE WE CHARGE OVER 50% LESS THAN THIS.
